Description

As a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, you will conduct safety inspections, prepare field reports, and determine load capacity ratings for bridges. You will supervise team members, coordinate multiple projects, and work independently under guidance. Travel and physical demands such as climbing are required.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years related experience
• NBIS Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) with up-to-date refresher training
• TxDOT precertification 6.1.1 Routine Bridge Inspection Team Leader or ability to obtain
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to climb embankments, manipulate ladders, and work at heights

Responsibilities

• Conduct bridge inspections in accordance with NBIS and DOT
• Prepare field inspection reports using iForms, BMS2, National Bridge Elements (NBE)
• Determine load capacity ratings
• Coordinate, plan, market, and manage multiple bridge inspection projects
• Supervise team members in inspections and report completion
• Work independently under guidance of Project Manager/Senior Engineer
