Description

You will join Point as a foundational member of our Mexico-based platform engineering team, shaping and scaling our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-driven developer productivity initiatives. You'll drive high-ownership projects that directly impact reliability, security, and developer velocity, while collaborating with a skilled team to build the foundation of our global engineering organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong experience with shell scripting (e.g., Bash)
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
• Experience with Docker, AWS services (ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Redis, IAM), and monitoring tools like Datadog

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of agentic and AI-assisted software development practices
• Manage and scale AWS cloud infrastructure for reliable, secure production systems
• Build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments
• Develop and maintain IaC for consistent, auditable environments
• Lead observability platform adoption and improve infrastructure health monitoring
