💼 About This Role

You'll lead the engineering team building computer vision and AI-powered streaming intelligence for high school sports, turning live video into real-time stats and highlights. Your work will directly impact millions of fans, athletes, and coaches across the NFHS Network. This is PlayOn's highest-priority investment area with strong executive support.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead computer vision stats pipeline from POC to production across five sports
• Recruit, hire, and onboard senior and staff engineers for the team
• Partner with Principal Product Manager to co-own roadmap and execution
• Establish reusable AI development patterns for other product areas

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering management
• Experience shipping AI/ML-powered products in production
• Strong technical foundation in Python and cloud-native architectures (AWS)
• Track record of building and retaining high-performing engineering teams
