Description

You will design and develop custom test systems for flight hardware, including electronics, optics, RF antennas, and electromechanical components. You'll write automation software in Python, collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, and root-cause test anomalies to ensure maximum reliability for SpaceX's vehicles and satellites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related with EE emphasis
• 1+ years experience in electronic hardware or software development
• 1+ years programming in Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• ITAR compliance (US citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom test solutions for flight hardware
• Select COTS hardware or design custom PCBAs for signal measurement and load application
• Write automation software in Python for test equipment and documentation systems
• Provide feedback to design and manufacturing engineers to improve reliability and yield
• Root-cause test anomalies and implement mitigations
