💼 About This Role

You'll lead workplace investigations and employee relations for Philz Coffee, reporting to the VP of People Culture. You'll conduct careful investigations and maintain a compliant work environment to support rapid growth with a focus on fairness and respect. This role is currently remote and must be based in Greater Los Angeles.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct workplace investigations on team member complaints and policy violations
• Document findings and prepare investigation summaries and recommendations
• Partner with People Culture to address concerns and provide recommendations on feedback and performance
• Track and manage cases using HR systems and analyze trends for proactive solutions

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years conducting investigations in a non-exempt industry (hospitality, retail, or food service)
• 2+ years HR experience at specialist or manager level conducting employee investigations
• Strong knowledge of Federal and California employment laws
• Experience building employee relations programs and using technology for case management
