💼 About This Role

You'll serve as an onsite Systems Administrator supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, analyzing problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems. This role offers the opportunity to support veterans in a Veterans Administration facility.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and networks
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using Service Now
• Image and provision desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Manage asset inventory and perform media sanitization
• Monitor system performance using SCOM and other tools

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of system administration experience
• HS diploma or GED required; BS preferred
• Experience with high volume/high availability systems
• Must have REAL ID or active passport for background check
• Ability to pass Public Trust background investigation with fingerprinting

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with VA standard tools like SCOM and McAfee
• Familiarity with scripting
