💼 About This Role

You will drive the design of high-voltage cable harnesses from architecture through mass production, collaborating with global suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability, cost, and quality for ChargePoint's EV charging products.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute design from architecture to mass production
• Design, prototype, and refine solutions for engineering challenges
• Interface with global suppliers to optimize designs for production
• Identify design opportunities for quality, cost, assembly, and manufacturing
• Perform root cause and failure analysis on parts and products

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 6 years industry experience, with 3 years in Cable Harness or Interconnect design
• Understanding of cable/connector tests (cross-section, pull-out, current cycling, electrical performance)
• Experience with standards (USCAR, IEC, IPC) and EMI/grounding considerations
• Proficient in CAD (Zuken NX preferred) and 2D drawing optimization with GD&T
