You'll own the reliability of deployed systems and architect control infrastructure for a 1,000x fleet expansion. You'll bridge pilot operations and global scale, standardizing PLC and SCADA patterns while ensuring safety compliance across modular DAC, electrolyser, and reactor systems. This role offers significant equity and the chance to work with top-tier engineers from Imperial and Cambridge.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable control architectures for modular sites.
• Manage engineering changes and safety functions under IEC 61515.
• Develop remote diagnostics and fleet-wide monitoring capabilities.
• Transition pilot deployments to thousands of industrial sites.

📋 Requirements

• Proven track record leading design and commissioning of distributed control systems.
• Deep technical expertise in IEC 61131-3 (Codesys/PLC) and HMI development.
• Experience with industrial communications like Modbus, CANbus, and OPC-UA.
• Comfortable with fast-scaling hardware startup intensity.

• First-principles thinking and high ownership.
• Experience with hazardous environments and SIL verification.
• Background in thermodynamics or electrochemistry.
