Description

You will provide acute medical care and same-day access for patients with time-sensitive needs, working flexible hours including evenings and weekends. This role allows you to be part of transforming healthcare delivery with a focus on evidence-based urgent care and comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• Practiced at least 2 of last 5 years in outpatient primary or urgent care seeing all ages (0+).
• At least one year of experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and at least 3 major holidays per year.
• Ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts).
• Current California state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for acute medical concerns and time-sensitive needs without a patient panel.
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends (clinics open 7 days, 8am-9pm).
• Address a broad range of concerns such as chest pain, abdominal pain, lacerations, infections, and acute mental health triage.
• Maintain evidence-based urgent care practices and working knowledge of common primary care issues.
• Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters and procedures.
