💼 About This Role

You'll build customer-facing self-service experiences and backend services for Toast's Help Center platform. Your work will directly impact how millions of support interactions begin, ensuring they are context-aware, performant, and resilient. You'll help shape the future of intelligent self-service at a company that empowers restaurants.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain the Help Center experience through full stack development
• Collaborate with UX, PM, QA and Engineering to define and build best-in-class solutions
• Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life-cycles
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages
• Strong hands-on experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks
• Proficient with modern API standards such as REST and GraphQL
• Proven ability to own complex features end-to-end from design through production

• Experience with AI tooling like Cursor, Claude, and MCP servers
• Experience delivering high-impact, scalable solutions in multi-product environments
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
