💼 About This Role

You'll architect and implement AI-assisted workflow building capabilities for n8n's open workflow orchestration platform. You'll design the orchestration layer between users, workflows, and LLMs to make the product fast, helpful, and trustworthy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect AI-assisted workflow creation, editing, and suggestions
• Design systems providing LLMs with workflow state and user intent
• Build tool-driven agent behavior with validation and recovery
• Develop evaluation benchmarks and automated testing for AI output

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years building web-based products, ideally SaaS developer tools
• Strong fullstack engineering skills in TypeScript / Node.js and API design
• Hands-on experience building complex AI-powered product features in production
• Experience building a tool-using AI system or agentic workflow

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with developer tools generating code or structured output
• Familiarity with agent orchestration patterns, state machines, or DAG-based systems
• Experience with RAG systems and retrieval patterns
