Description

You will own the content strategy across social channels, translating company priorities into compelling narrative experiences. You'll partner with editorial and creative teams to surface seller and designer voices, identify cultural moments to insert 1stDibs into broader conversations, and test new platforms and formats to drive engagement and traffic.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience leading multi-platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Substack) social strategies with a focus on high-quality video content and storytelling
  • A sharp instinct for "what stops a scroll" and a genuine appreciation for fine art, jewelry, and vintage fashion
  • A growth-oriented approach; energized by testing new ideas and comfortable being on camera to represent the brand
  • Experienced in video content creation and/or production (and a desire to be on camera!)
  • Fluency in social ecosystems and a "data-informed" approach to performance
  • A flair for collaborating across Creative, Merchandising, and Product teams

  • Identify pop culture and design moments to insert 1stDibs into the broader conversation
  • Deliver results by testing new platforms (TikTok, Substack, Emerging Tech) and formats, scaling what resonates with our audience
  • Work cross-functionally to translate company priorities into a compelling social narrative that drives both engagement and traffic
  • Use insights to refine our strategy, ensuring every post contributes to our "Work that Matters"
