💼 About This Role

You'll build and maintain high-throughput backend services for Coupang's post-purchase experience, including cancellations, returns, and exchanges. You'll design complex workflows using Activiti BPMN and Temporal Cloud to process hundreds of thousands of requests daily. This role offers the chance to work on mission-critical infrastructure impacting customer satisfaction and business agility.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Tier 1/2 services handling 500K+ requests/day
• Design workflows using Activiti BPMN and Temporal Cloud
• Integrate with 15+ upstream/downstream systems
• Implement policy-driven business logic for cancellations and refunds

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years backend software engineering experience
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar

✨ Nice to Have

• Java or Kotlin experience
• MySQL/Aurora database optimization
• Workflow engine experience (Activiti, Temporal)
