Description

You will build and expand a bone marrow matching platform, leading development of a physician-facing front-end application for searching a cryopreserved bone marrow bank. You'll maintain data infrastructure, dashboards, and cross-functional tools, collaborating with clinical and commercial stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field
• 6+ years professional software development experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python with modern libraries and frameworks
• Strong experience with Django or Flask, server-side rendering (Jinja2) or HTMX
• Proven experience building and deploying SMART on FHIR apps

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a physician-facing SMART on FHIR application using Python-based web stack
• Manage app registration and lifecycle on open.epic and Epic Showroom portals
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and robust security protocols
• Partner with hospital IT teams for technical handshakes and security reviews
• Collaborate with scientists and stakeholders to translate matching logic into user experience
