Description

As Director of Product Design at Hello Heart, you will own the craft and quality bar across product experiences and go-to-market surfaces. You'll be a hands-on leader, ensuring UI quality, UX patterns, and brand cohesion as we scale a B2B2C portfolio spanning a connected device, AI features, and behavior change. You'll shape high-stakes launches, push AI-forward design workflows, and tighten collaboration with Engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience with leadership on strategic products and evidence of designing for behavior change
• Strong visual design, interaction design, and information architecture skills
• Demonstrated success mentoring designers and influencing cross-functional product development in complex B2B2C models
• Strong product storytelling and communication skills to drive alignment and make quality tradeoffs explicit
• Mastery of Figma, prototyping tools, and design documentation practices

Responsibilities

• Uphold visual quality bar across product lines and go-to-market by directly designing key launch moments and executive storytelling assets
• Define and maintain cross-product UX patterns and layout guardrails without adding process overhead
• Act as craft delegate to VP of Product Design, running critiques and first-pass reviews, surfacing risks early, accelerating decisions
• Coach designers and writers through pragmatic, high-signal feedback focused on user understanding and trust
• Use and advocate for AI tools in UX workflows: ideation, prototyping, content iteration, research synthesis
