Description

You will assign staff, assess resident care, and manage nursing teams to ensure quality care in a long-term care setting. You'll communicate with the Director of Nursing, enforce standards, and promote staff accountability and autonomy.

Requirements

• Current RN license in state of work
• Two years supervisory experience preferred
• Three to five years long-term care experience
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and transfer residents up to 200+ lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Assign staff and ensure equal distribution of duties
• Complete rounds to assess residents and care quality
• Receive and give shift reports to Director of Nursing
• Manage staff, discipline as necessary, and empower team
• Develop measurable staff goals and maintain clinical competencies
