💼 About This Role

You'll operate and maintain a wastewater treatment plant during your assigned shift. You'll monitor equipment and perform minor troubleshooting and repairs. This role ensures efficient treatment processes and compliance with state regulations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor equipment and pumping systems including sewer force mains
• Start and stop mechanical equipment systems for primary and secondary treatment
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repair of pumps, controls, and related equipment
• Read meters and gauges, take test samples, and maintain records

📋 Requirements

• Possession of valid Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade 3 or Grade 4 certification
• Good knowledge of practices and equipment for wastewater treatment plant operation
• Working knowledge of physics, chemistry, and bacteriology as applied to wastewater treatment
• Skill in operation and repair of pumps, valves, and related mechanical and electrical equipment
