Description

You will coordinate the Aviation Maintenance Technician program at the Norfolk campus, overseeing daily operations, supervising faculty, and teaching. You will help train the next generation of aviation technicians while maintaining hands-on expertise.

Requirements

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
• Minimum 3 years practical work experience in aviation maintenance (repair and installation)
• Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred
• Ability to supervise faculty and manage daily operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee Evening Schedule Aviation Maintenance program operations and faculty/staff supervision
• Partner with Education teams on curriculum and teaching aids
• Manage faculty performance through hiring, evaluations, coaching
• Provide instructional support and substitute teaching
• Advise students on academic and attendance issues; ensure compliance with regulations
