💼 About This Role

You'll own detection & response and cloud infrastructure security at a fast-growing AI company. You'll build SOC 2 Type II audit readiness and drive MTTD to ≤60 minutes. This role offers a chance to shape security from the ground up in a bootstrapped, profitable company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Remediate credential exposure and deploy CSPM across AWS/GCP environments
• Deploy SIEM and author 30+ MITRE ATT&CK-mapped detection rules
• Own incident response lifecycle with ≤60 minute MTTD
• Produce continuous evidence for SOC 2 Type II audit

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience
• Demonstrable depth in cloud security or security operations (and fluency in the other)
• Proven ability to build security infrastructure from zero
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II control requirements (CC6, CC7)

• Experience with IaC security gates (Checkov/Terraform)
• Routine use of LLMs as part of daily security workflow
