💼 About This Role

You'll own all payroll operations at Temporal, a growing open-source company. You'll build scalable payroll processes and establish international payroll operations across 5 countries. This role is foundational for IPO readiness.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage US payroll across semi-monthly and bi-weekly cycles
• Partner with HR on compensation, benefits, and equity
• Coordinate international payroll setup in 5 countries
• Establish SOX-compliant internal controls and documentation

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll management experience
• Multi-state payroll tax and compliance expertise
• Experience with Rippling or similar payroll system
• Knowledge of equity compensation (RSUs, NSOs)

✨ Nice to Have

• International payroll setup experience
• SOX compliance and IPO readiness experience
• Payroll system implementation experience
