You'll define and validate metallurgical processes for autonomous factories producing aerospace and defense components. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and validate heat treatment and surface finishing processes
• Perform metallurgical analysis including microstructural and hardness testing
• Conduct root cause analysis for material nonconformances
• Collaborate with teams to ensure repeatable production processes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or Metallurgy (or equivalent)
• 4+ years in metallurgical or materials engineering with metal alloys
• Working knowledge of heat treatment for steels, aluminum, titanium, or nickel-based alloys
• Experience with material testing or failure investigations in production

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
• Hands-on with metallography, microscopy, and hardness testing
