You'll design, integrate, and validate sensing systems for autonomous wheeled robots in challenging real-world environments. Your work will directly impact field-ready AI systems that are already deployed globally. This role spans hardware-software boundaries and offers exposure to full-stack robotics development.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define sensing requirements and select sensors like LiDARs, depth cameras, and IMUs
• Integrate sensors with electrical, mechanical, and software systems
• Design and execute intrinsic and extrinsic calibrations
• Conduct root cause analysis of sensor issues across hardware and software boundaries

📋 Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience with perception sensors (LiDAR, depth cameras, IMUs, GPS)
• Strong foundation in optics, signal processing, and electromagnetic wave propagation
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, sensor drivers, and timing protocols

• Experience taking systems from prototype to large scale production
• Experience with autonomous vehicles or drones in harsh environments
• Knowledge of autonomy stacks and how sensor performance impacts algorithms
