Description

You will lead backend development for SoFi's next-generation Lending Platform, working with Product, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver outstanding value to members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 3+ years as a professional full-time Software Engineer
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or similar OOP language
• Experience with GIT and CI/CD systems
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot

Responsibilities

• Lead technical evolution of key platform subsystems
• Design and implement durable solutions for ambiguous requirements
• Write meaningful tests and debug complex issues across system layers
• Create clear design and operational documentation
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers
