Description

You will help shape identity and authorization controls for users, services, and AI Agents at Pinterest. You'll design and maintain critical IAM infrastructure, collaborate across teams to build AAA platform controls, and leverage AI to improve systems and least privilege. This role involves working with Golang, Python, C++, React, and TypeScript to deliver robust access control solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4-5+ years of software development experience
• Experience building and operating large scale distributed systems
• Track record of influencing technical architecture across teams
• Proven ability to critically evaluate AI-assisted work

Responsibilities

• Shape identity and authorization controls for users, services, and AI Agents
• Design and maintain mission-critical IAM infrastructure and libraries
• Improve code quality and system performance using AI coding agents
• Collaborate with teams to build AAA platform controls across high-traffic services
• Mentor junior engineers on the I2AM team
