💼 About This Role

You'll own the mechanical design of Pickle Robot's truck unloading robot platform from concept through production. You'll set the technical direction and ensure hardware is rugged, reliable, and manufacturable at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead mechanical design of robotic platforms across full product lifecycle
• Set technical direction for robot architecture, packaging, and manufacturing
• Define design requirements, perform tolerance stack-ups, and drive interface decisions
• Ensure structural integrity via FEA, material selection, and physical testing

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience in Mechanical Engineering
• FEA experience validated with hand calculations and physical tests
• Proficiency in OnShape CAD and Arena PLM
• Experience with DFMEA, FAI, PPAP, and manufacturing processes

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in robotics, automation, consumer electronics, aerospace, or EV
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
