Description
You will act as the main client liaison for all types of valuations, managing the production of multi-departmental valuations and overseeing consignment processes from start to finish. This role requires coordinating with specialists and regional offices to ensure high standards of accuracy and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Auctioneer degree and art education skills
- Minimum 2 years experience as generalist
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Fluency in English; additional language is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively in France and Europe
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire valuation process from pre-visit to final document quality check
- Prepare draft and formal valuations for sale, insurance, tax, and estate purposes
- Liaise with expert departments to ensure valuation accuracy
- Direct and manage resulting multi-departmental consignments
- Maintain client relationships and identify sale opportunities
