Description

You will lead a small field crew troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining utility-scale solar farms. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring real experience on megawatt-scale projects and involves 100% travel to solar farm sites.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of utility-scale solar experience
• Experience leading crews of 4+ or acting as lead tech on-site
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills (inverters, DC systems, power electronics)
• Experience with solar O&M / maintenance work
• Working knowledge of OSHA / NFPA 70E safety standards

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems including inverters, combiner boxes, and string circuits
• Perform testing: LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, IR scans
• Lead and direct 4+ field technicians on active solar farm sites
• Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule
• Enforce safety requirements (OSHA, NFPA 70E) on-site
