Description

As a Senior Compensation Partner at Gusto, you will build and scale compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent. You'll use data, AI tools, and automation to ensure fair and competitive pay, partnering with HR, Finance, and leadership to shape strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Compensation, Total Rewards, or related analytical function; ideally in high-growth tech
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools or automation for analysis with strong judgment on data quality
  • Experience with compensation survey data (Radford/Aon, Mercer, Pave)
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local pay regulations including pay transparency and FLSA
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate total rewards story effectively

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate compensation programs ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and senior leadership to translate compensation philosophy into actionable programs
  • Lead annual compensation cycles (merit, equity refresh, benchmarking) end-to-end
  • Perform market analyses using survey data to recommend pay ranges and offer positioning
  • Design scalable compensation workflows, automate analyses, and maintain dashboards for real-time insights
