💼 About This Role

You'll lead a hands-on firmware team developing software for electric vehicle propulsion and battery systems at an electric mobility company. You'll own the full software lifecycle from architecture to production support, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. This role offers the chance to shape safety-critical embedded systems for innovative small EVs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of embedded firmware engineers
• Contribute to firmware architecture, code reviews, and key implementation
• Drive architectural design and development of firmware across vehicle programs
• Oversee software development lifecycle for propulsion firmware and controls

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded software/firmware development
• 4+ years of direct people management
• Expert in C and proficient in C++, Python, bash
• Deep experience with propulsion systems, motor control, or BMS

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink model-based design
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation for hardware products
• Familiarity with functional safety (MISRA, ISO 26262)
