💼 About This Role

You'll design and optimize natural gas pipeline systems for xAI's on-site power generation, ensuring safe and efficient fuel delivery. Your work directly impacts the reliability of power for our Colossus AI superclusters. This is a unique opportunity to apply pipeline engineering in a cutting-edge AI infrastructure context.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and optimize natural gas pipeline systems and metering stations
• Perform detailed engineering analysis (stress, hydraulic, surge) using CAESAR II or Aspen
• Develop P&IDs, specifications, construction drawings, and test plans
• Ensure compliance with PHMSA, DOT 49 CFR 192/195, ASME B31.3/B31.8

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Pipeline, or Chemical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience in natural gas pipeline design or integrity management

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with natural gas turbine power plants or data center backup power systems
• Familiarity with large-scale on-site generation facilities (turbines >10 MW)
• Knowledge of leak detection systems, odorization, and corrosion control
