You'll join Upstart's Monetization team to build real-time services that optimize loan offers using machine learning and scalable systems. You'll collaborate with engineers and partners across Product, Analytics, and Capital Markets to drive smarter pricing and efficient capital deployment. This role offers deep backend expertise in a mission-driven fintech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build real-time services for fee computation and offer filtering
• Develop scalable systems for experimentation and market response
• Collaborate on pricing decisions and capital deployment optimization
• Ensure security, performance, and availability of pricing platforms

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• 3+ years experience with distributed systems and APIs
• Experience with Kotlin, Python, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices

• Experience in fintech, dynamic pricing, or capital markets
• Familiarity with machine learning models in production
• Experience with internal tools and remote collaboration
