Description

You'll work on the Booster Mechanical Engineering team to design and manufacture the 1st Stage of the Super Heavy rocket. You'll partner with design teams to ensure manufacturability, oversee hardware production, and drive improvements to parts and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production (internship qualifies)
• Experience with large mechanical assemblies
• Knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques (welding, forming, fastening, etc.)
• 3D CAD software experience

Responsibilities

• Work with vehicle analysts and design teams to ensure solutions meet design and manufacturing requirements
• Develop production procedures and manage transition from development to high-rate production
• Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of systems and tooling
• Execute design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency
• Create CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components
