You will own payroll compliance for the Middle East region, translating complex legislation into scalable processes and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Legal to embed compliance into Remote's global payroll platform.

• Deep expertise in payroll and employment compliance for Middle East
• Proven record leading audits or country-level compliance programs
• Experience partnering with technical teams on product requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
• Systems thinker who designs scalable frameworks and processes

Responsibilities

• Own payroll compliance for assigned region
• Translate statutory rules into product requirements for Engineering
• Lead audits and compliance programs from planning through remediation
• Serve as escalation point for compliance incidents and drive resolution
• Design processes, controls, and SOPs to ensure ongoing adherence
