Description

You'll manage the full lifecycle of data center white space fit-out projects, from design through closeout. Overseeing general contractors, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and quality control, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This role offers hands-on involvement in building critical infrastructure for leading-edge compute environments.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent; OR 5+ years of construction management experience
• 5+ years managing large, complex mission-critical MEP projects
• Strong GC and vendor management experience (RFP, bidding, change orders, quality control, RFI/submittal tracking)
• Ability to read construction specs and drawings for all disciplines
• Knowledge of building codes: Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA

Responsibilities

• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout
• Monitor project progress, communicate changes, and manage client expectations
• Resolve scope problems with subcontractors and trades
• Manage construction documents: submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoicing
• Enforce quality control and report key construction metrics
