Description

You'll join a collaborative team providing PostgreSQL expertise for mission-critical federal applications. You will design and optimize databases, ensure performance and security, manage Kubernetes clusters, and support CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid D.C. metro area environment.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret with current or previously held SCI access
• 5+ years as DBA/engineer focused on PostgreSQL
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery for PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and tuning PostgreSQL in enterprise environments
• Certification meeting DoD 8140 (e.g., Security+, GSEC)

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and optimize databases in on-premises and cloud environments
• Perform database performance tuning, backups, replication, and recovery
• Enforce access controls, auditing, governance, and retention policies
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and support containerized database operations
• Administer CI/CD pipelines and automation for database delivery
