Description

You will lead the Solutions Engineering team and partner with sales to drive new business, understand customer requirements, and design solutions integrating AccuWeather's APIs, data, and products into client environments. You'll deliver technical demos, handle RFPs, and influence product roadmap based on customer feedback.

Requirements

• 8-10 years in Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role
• Strong technical background in APIs and integrations, data products, or cloud/SaaS architectures
• Ability to read and reason about code in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Proven experience designing solution architectures for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Comfort with sales calls and handling objections
• Strong requirements-gathering and problem-solving skills
• 1-3 years experience leading and managing a team

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales team throughout deal cycle as primary technical contact
• Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand systems and integration requirements
• Design end-to-end solution architectures for customer integration
• Deliver tailored product demos, technical deep-dives, and proofs of concept
• Handle technical questions and objections during sales calls
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and implementation plans
• Create technical documentation and integration guides
• Own technical portions of RFPs/RFIs and security reviews
• Capture customer feedback and influence product roadmap
• Train sales team on product capabilities and technical talking points
