💼 About This Role

You'll own the compliance model risk management program, including governance, testing, and tuning for transaction monitoring, blockchain monitoring, and sanctions screening. You'll ensure scalable SQL models in Snowflake and regulatory readiness across AML and sanctions controls, reporting directly to Compliance leadership. This role is key to enabling reliable automated controls in a rapidly evolving crypto and fintech landscape.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end model governance, tuning, and testing for compliance models.
• Design and maintain scalable SQL models in Snowflake for governance.
• Maintain documentation on system integrations and data lineage.
• Lead model change-management processes to OCC-style standards.
• Build and maintain Compliance dashboards and reporting.

📋 Requirements

• 7–10+ years overall experience in data/analytics or Financial Crime/Compliance.
• At least 3–5 years focused on AML/sanctions/Financial Crime technology or models.
• Strong SQL in a modern data warehouse.
• Hands-on experience with AML/sanctions systems (e.g., TM, sanctions screening, blockchain analytics).

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with model governance concepts (lifecycle, documentation, change management).
• Exposure to OCC-style model risk guidance or DFS 504 requirements.
• Experience with vendor systems like Chainalysis, Elliptic, ComplyAdvantage.
