💼 About This Role

You'll join the Connectivity squad within Spotify's Core Infrastructure studio, owning the client networking stack end-to-end. You'll shape client-server communication and protocol reliability for hundreds of millions of users globally, collaborating closely with backend teams. This is an early opportunity to influence technical direction alongside a small senior team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and evolve core systems for mobile networking across platforms.
• Refactor and modularize existing components across C++, Android, and iOS.
• Design observability solutions for end-to-end debugging and metrics.
• Lead migrations from legacy networking systems with minimal risk.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in mobile or infrastructure engineering with strong C++.
• Experience working across Android and/or iOS environments.
• Built and shipped production-grade SDKs or mobile infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals like HTTP/2+ and WebSockets.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time messaging systems such as PubSub.
• Confidence in debugging and optimizing across native and platform layers.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and modularization at scale.
