💼 About This Role

You'll lead and support K2 Space's comprehensive security program, ensuring compliance with DOD and IC requirements. You'll establish security culture and procedures from the ground up at a fast-growing space startup. This role offers ownership of security infrastructure for a Series C company building the largest satellites.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage Special Access Program (SAP) operations programs
• Conduct security briefings and training sessions
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for SAPF/SCIF
• Manage classified documentation and transmission

📋 Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• 10+ years as CPSO or CSSO managing DOD/IC programs
• Strong understanding of NISPOM, ICD 705, and DOD protocols

• Experience establishing security program from scratch
• Hands-on SCIF and SAPF accreditation experience
• Security certification (ISP, SFPC, SPeD)
