💼 About This Role

You'll drive manufacturing engineering strategy for Etched's AI silicon-to-system products from prototype through mass production. You'll serve as the technical bridge between product development and contract manufacturing partners, ensuring designs are ready for NPI and ramp. This role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-growing AI hardware company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead manufacturing engineering strategy from prototype to mass production.
• Serve as primary technical interface with JDM/CM partners.
• Drive DFM, DFA, DFT, and DFY into product designs early.
• Set up process validation, line bring-up, and factory readiness.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years in manufacturing engineering for complex hardware.
• Experience taking products from NPI through ramp to sustained production.
• Hands-on with line bring-up, process qualification, fixture/tooling development.
• Experience with JDMs/ODMs in Asia for datacenter or server hardware.

• Strong SMT process development capabilities.
• Experience with PFMEA and control plans.
