💼 About This Role

You'll lead a product engineering team building first-class cloud database security features for MongoDB Atlas. You'll manage, code, and architect systems that enable secure, globally distributed clusters for mission-critical applications. This role offers the chance to grow a new Dublin team and shape the product roadmap.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and grow a team of individual contributors
• Contribute to code, design, and architecture decisions
• Work with stakeholders to build roadmap and product offerings
• Collaborate with customers and support engineers to fix issues

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Led teams building large-scale distributed backend systems
• Skilled in a compiled language (Go, Java, C#, C++)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Java or Go
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Prior hands-on security experience (auth, network access, encryption)
