Description

You will design, build, and automate test systems for battery and power systems supporting Starlink satellites. This involves developing cross-functional automation solutions, designing test equipment, and troubleshooting hardware-software interactions to ensure reliable broadband internet for millions of users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or STEM discipline
• 1+ years experience with instrumentation, data acquisition system design, or electronics test engineering
• Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
• Experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, DAQs, etc.)
• Experience with digital and analog interfaces (USB, VISA, TCP/IP, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, Modbus)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cross-functional automation solutions for test capability and safety
• Design test and ground support equipment including fixtures, battery management systems, and automated test equipment
• Architect, write, and debug PLC code
• Create electrical, harnessing, and fluid schematics
• Perform electrical installation of valves, limit switches, potentiometers, contactors
