💼 About This Role

You'll implement and operate highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure across a multi-account AWS environment at The Economist Group. You'll play a key role in improving system reliability and performance while enabling teams to deploy safely at scale. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud and observability tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI
• Manage and secure AWS multi-account environments
• Implement and operate cloud-native workloads using ECS and AWS Lambda
• Operational support on Cloudflare for DNS, WAF, DDoS protection

📋 Requirements

• 4-5 years of strong AWS experience with multiple accounts and production-scale workloads
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions
• Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals including IAM, network security, secrets management
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python for automation or backend services

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare or similar CDN/WAF technology
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation
• Background in SRE, DevOps, or CloudOps roles
