Description

You will produce sub-micron tolerance diamond turned parts at production volumes, maintaining machine uptime and using metrology equipment like CMMs and interferometers. This role involves following work instructions, identifying issues, and data entry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of professional experience with precision hand tools or equipment
• Preferred: experience with sub-micron tolerance parts
• Preferred: CNC lathe experience
• Preferred: understanding of optics manufacturing and metrology

Responsibilities

• Follow defined work instructions and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain machine uptime by identifying and reporting issues
• Use metrology equipment including CMMs, optical microscopes, and Zygo interferometers
• Perform data entry and work tracking
