💼 About This Role

You'll join Waymo's Legal team to advise on autonomous driving regulations and shape transportation policy. You'll impact the deployment of the Waymo Driver across multiple vehicle platforms. This hybrid role offers exposure to cutting-edge legal issues in a high-growth industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on applicability of state and local laws in novel factual situations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to shape regulatory and legislative outcomes.
• Represent Waymo in interactions with government agencies.
• Advise teams on scalable regulatory compliance programs and processes.
• Gain subject matter expertise as new issues emerge.

📋 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in administrative law, agency regulations, or compliance.
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills.
• Experience in ambiguous or challenging situations involving safety-critical issues.
