You'll own the design and integration of nuclear terrestrial and space systems at a startup backed by over $130M in venture capital. You'll develop layouts unifying reactor, power conversion, and payload systems, driving configuration trades from concept through CDR. This role directly impacts the mission to make clean energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead system-level integration of reactor, power conversion, thermal rejection, and shielding.
• Own CAD integration models and configuration baselines across design phases.
• Drive cross-discipline alignment and trade studies for system architecture.
• Support design reviews and integration/test planning for hardware.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle configuration.
• Expertise with CAD (e.g., NX, CATIA) and PLM systems.

• Master's or PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Experience in design, analysis, and integration of space or nuclear systems.
• Knowledge of materials science for nuclear applications.
