You'll architect and build data infrastructure at Gusto, supporting Data Science and BI teams across the company. You'll own solutions end-to-end, handling vast amounts of data in batch and real-time. This role offers the chance to shape the data stack at a company serving 400,000 small businesses.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and build data infrastructure and tools
• Process clickstream, database, and third-party data in batch and real-time
• Own solutions from requirements through production monitoring
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members

📋 Requirements

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Redshift, MSK, EMR)
• Experience with OLAP databases (Clickhouse)
• Experience building data pipelines at scale (Airflow, Python)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Ability to turn vague requirements into clear deliverables
