Description

You will build and lead clinical veterinary operations across a diverse portfolio of animal programs, delivering exceptional care and designing scalable systems and protocols in a start-up environment.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in anesthesia, surgery, emergency response, and preventative medicine
• Experience building scalable veterinary programs in a dynamic organization
• Ability to design clinical systems, SOPs, and facility infrastructure from the ground up
• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• Comfortable working on-site in Dallas, TX

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care across diverse species, including restored species
• Design and implement anesthetic and surgical protocols for hospital and field environments
• Develop SOPs for preventative medicine, quarantine, anesthesia, controlled drugs, and emergency response
• Ensure compliance with USDA, DEA, and federal regulations; oversee biosecurity and welfare assessments
• Lead emergency and critical care, including field-based immobilizations and remote procedures
