Description

You'll develop autonomous robotic welding systems by running experiments, generating custom motion plans and weld parameters, and collaborating with robotics engineers. Your work will directly advance AI-driven manufacturing solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years developing robotic welding procedures in industrial environment
• Proficient with industrial robotics (Yaskawa, ABB, Kuka, or Fanuc)
• Experience in fusion-based weld parameter development for carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Proficient with manual welding (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW)
• Understand weld symbology and print interpretation

Responsibilities

• Run weld parameter selection experiments for new customer applications
• Develop rules for automating workpiece and robot end-effector trajectory
• Perform robotic welding experiments for sensors, path planning, and hardware testing
• Fabricate test coupons for application feasibility testing
• Travel 30%-50% to interface directly with customers
