Description

You will guide customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. You'll work with sales teams to drive account success, win deals, and be a trusted advisor to a wide range of users from startups to enterprise IT organizations.

Requirements

• 8-11 years of customer-facing experience, with 5-7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software
• Minimum 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#)
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
• Strong presentation and communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to business leadership
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, communicating business value
• Collaborate with sales team on account planning, opportunity prioritization, and pipeline generation
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing
• Foster strong customer relationships, build champions, and ensure customer satisfaction
